Oslo CoFutures ‘Futures from the Margins’ Keynote

Photo of me (Indrapramit Das) giving a keynote reading at a lecture hall in the University of Oslo's Science Library.

It was an honour and a privilege to participate as a keynote speaker and panelist at the CoFutures and Science Fiction Research Association (SFRA) ‘Futures from the Margins’ conference in Oslo. My deepest gratitude to Bodhisattva Chattopadhyay, Sami Ahmad Khan, Anna Sigríður Halldórsdóttir, Marta T, Bergsveinn Þórsson, Merve Tabur, Regina Kanyu Wang and the whole team for being the warmest, most welcoming hosts one could hope for. Many thanks also to all my fellow panelists, speakers, participants, and such an engaged and enthusiastic audience. It was a joy to meet you all and get to know you in such a beautiful city.

For the keynote, I read from my story ‘A Necessary Being’, from Gideon Lichfield’s Make Shift (MIT Press) anthology from the series Twelve Tomorrows, followed by a Q&A session.
