ANNIHILATION (the film, directed by Alex Garland) is about the unfathomable horrors and splendours each of us holds within us, and how they interact with the unfathomable horrors and splendours beyond the safe and awful confines of our selves/bodies. I loved it. Read the brilliant novel by Jeff Vandermeer first, then watch this (on the biggest screen possible, if you haven’t already), and let them do what they will with your psyche.
